Deadlines Galore.
Friday, October 19, 2007My absence is largely due to my bad habit of procrastinating and leaving everything to the last minute. Thus, everything piled up and now I have four Psychology application papers and one article for the magazine to finish by the end of this week. In my defense, I started working on the article early but due to the process of getting in touch with the right people ans some unforeseen circumstances (ie, I had to wait for the green light from them to go ahead with the article and the interview kept being postponed), until finally I was forced to change the entire focus of the article altogether. Given the short notice of the change of focus for the article, I am honestly and completely unprepared. But the magic in writing is that we can play with words to make them fit… the problem is finding the words.
Having openly announced that I procrastinate, you can read my column on The Campus, where I discuss procrastination in Singapore. My article is not up yet, but do check back in a few days or so. I’ll post the link up once it’s online. I’m one of the three columnists from Singapore who write for our University’s online newspaper, the other two are Arfin and Dan. We write for the column twice each month, so please show us some lovin’, especially if you’re a Mass Communications student and/or you study in Oklahoma City University and/or MDIS.

looking forward to that link…been an editor for our university paper for 4 years as well…so ul expect some good lovin’ from me! *wink*
