The sugar keeps on coming.
Thursday, August 28, 2008Met up with Shereen at Little India two days ago (or was it three, I’ve lost count of the days because everyday is the same for me nowadays). Primarily to scout for Indian desserts and taste them, yes, I want my cake and eat it too, and also to spend some time with the chica.
Pengz.
Faint.
I’m terribly sorry for my corny jokes and cheesy puns. They just keep finding their way into my posts where they make themselves right at home in the middle of my sentences, some of which I have to say were meant to be serious but I have no idea why I keep coming up with corny jokes.

- Spoiled for choice at an Indian dessert shop. Ended up getting the round pink sweets with the silver garnishing. The dessert shop uncle was the grouchiest person I’ve ever met in the F&B industry. - Photo by Shereen Naaz.
Shereen’s mom called around lunchtime saying she wanted to have lunch so she picked us up at Little India and drove down to Arab Street area where we had nice Malay cuisine for lunch.

- Lunch!! I like this pic because it shows my puffy sleeves. Top from Kamiseta. My favourite brands from the Philippines are Bayo and Kamiseta, in case anyone is thinking of getting me stuff for my birthday, or Christmas, and I’m XS or XXS…*hint - Photo by Shereen Naaz.
Stole them off Shereen’s Flickr. I conveniently forgot that one of the main reasons why my bag weighs a ton is because my camera is always in my bag. So my camera remained hidden in my bag until I remembered it was there and by then we were pretty much saying our goodbyes. Pengz.

- Shereen and April Zara at Bugis. I fuckin’ hate my eyebags!! That’s it, no more going to bed at 4am. Oooh! Puffy sleeves and shiny buttons!! - Photo by Shereen Naaz.
It was only around 2pm when we said our sad tearful goodbyes and parted with the promise of another rendez vous (I’m so full of shit sometimes, even I can’t take it) because Shereen had to run off to that damned ulu university of hers… and the ♥ sweetheart’s jamming session is not until late evening so I did what every good girl must do!
Go home and ZzZZzzzzzZZZZzZzZZz.

Oh Bugis. It’s the street where the flea market is at, right? Stayed in Southeast Asia Hotel in Waterloo Street a few years ago. I remember it is near Manila Street.
